My first reaction
It was a DREAM COME TRUE for me..!! I got to know that I am a 46th Rank holder only after 15 minutes of checking my results. I had not checked the merit list till then. Of Course I did expect a rank since I had really worked for it. The credit of my success goes to my Family. Especially my Mom who has struggled a lot for me right from the beginning.
I am pursuing my articleship at M/s P G Bhagwat Chartered Accountants. I have still a month to complete the articleship. Yes, the training received during ones articleship does help for our Final examination from practical perspective. The practical knowledge gained helps in papers like Audit & Taxation.
It is said that hard work always pays!!! So that’s it!!! Continuous efforts for 4.5 months of leave from articleship brought out all the fruits. Its not at all necessary to join any coaching centre. Joining a coaching centre is just a Value Addition!! I had joined coaching for Financial Reporting, MAFA, AMA & ISCA. The rest were self studied.
I had a time table prepared for myself. And I strictly followed the same no matter what. Time table was prepared in such manner that 3-4 subjects were covered in a day & there was sufficient time for yoga & other leisure time as well.
STRONG AND WEAK SUBJECTS: My weak subject was ISCA. I compulsorily used to spent 2 hours daily on that. It was the first subject with which I always started my day. I didn’t had any problem with any other subject as such.

Rank and preparation
Yes, as stated earlier, I did study for a rank. I kept this thought throughout my study period in order to bring the confidence in myself & keep focused. Also there was continuous support from my family during my study period which helped me to have faith in myself & achieve my goal.
After completing my articleship I would be going into the corporate world. Also I want to pursue CFA Course of the US.
I have kept the Campus as the last resort. I have already started applying in various organisations as of now. And yes I am focusing on interview preparations & brushing up my knowledge in various areas.
Advice to fellow students
Always work hard & success will be yours. Never have a negative attitude. Always be positive, have confidence in yourself. Always remember:
The biggest enemy of success is fear of failure,
So when fear knocks on the door,
Send Courage to open the door,
Success will walk in!!!
