Piyush Bansal - AIR 50 CA Final May 2016 - Jaipur, Rajasthan
Piyush Bansal

My self Piyush Bansal. I belong to Jaipur. I am from middle class family. My father have a business of motor parts. My mother is a homemaker. My grandmother had also helped me very much in my study in many ways. We are three brothers. My elder brother is also a CA. He is in practice. My younger brother is in 12th standard and he is preparing for IIT. In the 11th standard I have decided to do CA because of my interest in accounts and maths.

My first reaction

When I view my result and merit list firstly I thanked to God because it was AIR 50 which was the last rank. If I had got one mark less then I could have missed the all India Rank. So it was a very special moment for me and my family.

I have done my Articleship from Kalani & Co. a leading Chartered Accountant Firm in Rajasthan. The practical exposure which I have received during my Articleship is really very helpful in my study specially in audit subject.

I think coaching is important but is not necessary to take all subjects coaching. One can prepare theory subjects like Audit, Law without coaching. I think there is requirement to take practical subject coaching.

I got study leave from office in mid December (apx 4 and half month) before which I have completed all the coaching which I require and I have prepared the notes for the subjects which I was preparing self. I have done three times revision of all the subjects.

In last 4 month I daily study for 12-14 hours. I have given two months (60 days) for first revision then did second revision in 45 days and third revision in 30 days (60+45+30=four and half month).
